Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run
The Communications Unit supported the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run for many years. The run takes the same course as the Tevis Cup horse ride using the 100 mile long Western States Trail from Squaw Valley to Auburn. In 1996 the volunteer support mission was handed over to the local Amateur Radio Club.
